David Andrews is a writer and media consultant/commentator based in Brighton (UK). David’s travel, observational and autobiographical collections have appeared in an eclectic range of magazines, journals, newspapers and online platforms over his long writing career.

Ernest Hemingway, Cormac McCarthy , Evelyn Waugh, WG Sebald, Graham Greene, Harold Pinter, Tom Wolfe, Thom Jones and Raymond Carver are all significant influences on David’s writing style.

David’s collection of short stories for Amazon e-readers, thematically based on war-torn Europe in the first half of the twentieth century – Ghost Runners of the White Mountains – was published last year (2017).

David’s consultancy, David Andrews Media Ltd has launched products and services for some of the UK’s best known companies and brands since forming in 2003. The company was founded following David’s two decades working as a journalist and editor on many of the UK’s leading newspaper titles. David is also an occasional lecturer at the University of Sussex (MA Journalism) and a regular commentator on consumer/financial and public affairs for international & national newspapers, radio and TV media.
